Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ArtOS — Frimann Media ("ArtOS", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the ArtOS service at app.artos.run (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in (via Google), we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information.
- Connected social accounts. When you connect a platform (e.g., YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky), we store the access and refresh tokens and account identifiers needed to publish on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Content you provide. Media you upload (images, video, audio), text, captions, and the content generated from them.
- Voice samples. If you use voice cloning, the audio sample you provide, the synthetic voice model derived from it, and your consent attestation. Depending on your jurisdiction, a voiceprint may be biometric or special-category data (see Section 6).
- Payment information. Handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage & technical data. Logs, IP address, device and browser information, and actions taken in the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service: generate content and publish it to the platforms you connect, at your direction.
- To operate scheduling, distribution, and account management.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- For security, fraud prevention, support, and to improve the Service.
3. How we share information
- Connected platforms. We transmit your content and related data to the social platforms you authorize, in order to publish on your behalf. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
- Service providers. We use third parties to run the Service, including hosting (Railway), object storage (Cloudflare R2), payments (Stripe), and AI/GPU compute providers. They process data only to provide their services to us.
- Legal. We may disclose information where required by law.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. Google user data (YouTube)
ArtOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access your Google/YouTube data only to provide features you request (such as uploading videos to your channel) and do not use it for advertising or sell it.
5. Other platform data
For platforms such as Pinterest, Bluesky, and others, we access only the permissions you grant during connection, and only to provide the features you use (such as creating pins or posts). You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the account in ArtOS or in the platform's settings.
6. Voice samples & synthetic voices
If you use voice cloning, we process the voice sample you upload and the synthetic voice model created from it solely to generate the narration you request. We record your consent attestation — that the voice is your own or one you are authorized to clone — and when you gave it. In some jurisdictions a voiceprint is biometric or special-category personal data; where that applies, we rely on your explicit consent and use it only for this purpose. We do not use your voice data to train models for other users, and we do not sell it. You can delete a voice profile at any time in the Service, which removes the stored sample and model; content already generated and published remains subject to our Terms and the relevant platforms. See Section 7 of the Terms of Service.
7. Data retention & deletion
We retain your information while your account is active. You can disconnect any platform at any time, which deletes its stored tokens. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at andersfrimannsen@gmail.com; we will delete it except where retention is required by law.
8. Security
We protect data in transit with HTTPS and encrypt sensitive credentials (such as social-account tokens) at rest using AES-256-GCM. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU/EEA GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact andersfrimannsen@gmail.com.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use them to track you across other websites.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
